Dunstan Baby brain development

Developing your babies brain

Any parents, guardians, and caregivers need to be able to provide the best type of future they could possibly give to a child in their care. Did you know that starting all sorts of positive interactions are good for the brain as soon as the baby is born? Everything the baby feels, hears, and sees help form the wirings of the brain. The first few years of life can make the most difference. By the age of two, seventy five percent of the brain has already developed and ninety percent by the age of five.

Some parents or caregivers think that schooling will come and their child will eventually learn all the necessary knowledge they will need. True that eventually a child will go to school and learn the alphabet and learn how to read, but children who were exposed to all that before attending school will be more advanced. Some kids will already be reading by the time they start school, while others are just learning the letters of the alphabet. Scientists have found the same results from multiple studies. The amount of positive interactions early on in life lead to healthier brain development, which later on results with more well-adjusted adults.

From the moment a baby is born, the brain forms synapses each time it gets stimulated. It continuously develops and if there are no stimulants, the brain will not absorb anything. The brain is like a sponge, it will absorb if there is something to absorb.

As soon as the baby is born, start interacting with them. Nursery rhymes or soft music played repetitively will help the baby recognize the tune and it even becomes soothing. As soon as the baby can see, start showing different pictures that are colorful, one object per picture. Always talk to the baby, make faces and different sounds. Introduce the letters of the alphabet one at a time. Read a book before going to bed and make it a habit, this way the child will see that reading is enjoyable.

Baby language without words

Baby language without words

Already after the birth of your child begins to communicate with you – but without words. We have put together a translation of the typical baby-statements in the first months of life as a baby language.

You know that your baby looking at you, moves his mouth and reacts with body movements. It tries to imitate gestures and facial expressions. By crying, it can express its dissatisfaction. To see what your child would like to say.

* After four to six weeks: The baby recognizes your voice and respond with smiles and gurgling sounds in your speech, it is waiting for your reply. Speak up close with him, so that it can see you. Respond to sounds with his smile and talk.

* After four months, your baby is very different sounds, it is vowels, squeals and snorts it through the lips, it laughs. They laugh a lot when you talk to him.
* After six months: Gradually your baby understands your words. It knows when you say “no”. It is the first consonant. It adds sounds to each other and babble drauflos. Sing to your baby and repeat rhymes – which encourages early speech.
* After seven months ago: Now you can see clear syllables in the language of your child. It starts to play with the tongue and lips.

After a short time you will understand without words with your baby language. Your baby will signal through gestures and facial expressions, whether it is tired, hungry or just feel good. Parents have fine antennae and take their child’s true emotions and moods. Take every effort to encourage your child’s attempts at communication and understanding.

With no words act from your baby to communicate soon will
make you understand, what the baby want it to tell you about their feeling.

How babies communicate

How Babies Communicate

By choosing to read this article, you must be curious about how babies communicate. Well, depending on whether or not you are referring to baby to baby communication or baby to adult communication, you might have different opinions regarding this essay.
Babies communicate to other babies mostly by physical actions. For instance, if a baby hits another baby, than the “attacker” must feel some sort of hate towards the other baby. It’s as simple as that. Another example would be if one of the babies cried (in a situation of two or more babies). The crier is letting the other babies know that he is upset in order to earn sympathy and/or attention from the other baby(s).
How babies communicate to adults must obviously be more complex than baby to baby communication. Maybe adults share some secret language disclosed from the rest of the world and varying from parent to parent. It sounds far fetched, but it might just be true. Yes, babies cry to tell their mother because they want a warm bottle of milk or because they are tired, but maybe there is more to the whole thing than everybody thinks.
So anyway (in conclusion), there will always be a language barrier between babies and their parents. It will always be complicated, but it’s important to be that way. This is what makes babies so precious and cute. They are unable to verbally express themselves, thus they are unable to upset their parents with the things they might have said if they were able to. That’s basically it. Some parents might feel as if their youngsters are going to be late aware communicators, but they won’t realize that their children have been communicating the whole time unbeknownst to them. And honestly, it is a real shame that things are that way.

A nursery glider is a piece of nursery furniture that you may not realize you need, but will certainly be one of the most useful parts of your nursery. More comfortable than a traditional rocking chair, a nursery glider moves with a smooth gliding motion designed to lull your little one to sleep. Little Castle Furniture Company specializes in upholstered swivel gliders and children’s furniture.

Little Castle Nursery Gliders feature taller backs to support the head and neck during feedings, and higher arm rests to support the arm during nursing. Little Castle has over 15 different models of adult glider chairs available. They range in size from the smallest and most popular Cottage Glider to the larger Chair and a Half and the Cottage Chaise. The Chair and a Half is a great choice if you are having twins! Consider choosing a chair that is roomy, as you may choose to use a coordinating Nursing Pillow with your glider during feedings. Try to find a retailer with chairs to sit in, so you can find the size that’s right for you.

When choosing your glider, there are many different options to consider! Choose a chair with straight lines or gentle curves, with a loose cushion or a non-removable cushion, with or without a pillow back, with or without a slipcover, or a chair that reclines. Some models are also available with a down-filled cushion, such as the Buckingham and the Palace Glider. A gliding ottoman, stationary ottoman, or hassock is also available for every model! Consider an ottoman even with a recliner; it is attractive, and it can be more comfortable to put your feet up without having to recline the chair.

Once your glider model has been selected, there are still other options to consider! Every Little Castle glider is custom made to your specifications, and you have over 120 Little Castle fabrics to choose from, such as chenille, polka dots, or easy-to-clean micro-suede or supply your own for a truly custom glider chair! Choose a tailored skirt, a ruffled skirt, or a box pleat. Ottoman skirts can be chosen to match your glider skirt. Mix and match fabrics for the chair and the skirt, or choose a contrasting piping option. Choose arm covers, a nursing pillow, a throw pillow, or a lumbar pillow to match your new glider chair.

Your glider doesn’t have to be hidden in the nursery forever! Consider choosing a fabric that will blend in with your home decor and the glider can be moved into the living room or a family room after your child is done nursing! These extremely comfortable glider chairs may soon become your favorite seat in the house!

Royal Bambino offers free fabric swatches for Little Castle gliders, so you won’t have to choose based on photos alone! We also offer consultations to help you customize your glider without confusion. Little Castle nursery gliders are a must-have for the nursery, and will be a comfy and cozy place to curl up for years.

Swing sets have been around for a long time in one shape or form. The idea more than likely sprang from the older and simpler form of swing – the rope swing. A good example would be the rope swing tied to a secure tree branch that hangs over a pond or other body of water. The point was to swing out over the water while hanging on to the rope and to let go, dropping into the water. At one point of our history, tire swings were fairly popular by tying a rope around a tire and tying the other end to a tree branch so it hung above the ground.

All you had to do was sit in the tire and swing at will. Eventually the tire was eliminated and replaced by a board and even later a rubber slab with a rope tied on each end of the board or rubber slab and the other ends tied on a branch or bar secured above. It has been improved over time and has evolved to the large varieties we have today.

Schools seem to have always had them in the playground for children to play on during recess. They have been studied, analyzed and modernized for maximum safety as they can be dangerous. Many things have changed about the majority of them, especially ones preschoolers and preteens have access to. School swings are made of very solid materials, giving them maximum support with less chance of breaking and hurting a child. There have been other toys added to the standard swing, giving a variety of entertaining choices.

This would include swings with actual seats and a bar or belt that serves goes across the front and holding smaller children in place more securely. The seesaw styled toy was added that required two to ride by a pumping motion to keep it going. Then there is the basket swing that could hold two small children on each side and four altogether. On home models they added a slide on one end of the swing set for even more variety. Some still have the jungle gym bars that can be used to grab onto with your hands and make strong and healthy arm muscles. Swings have been around for so long because they continue to be fun and good for the active bodies of children and helping to strengthen them.

Travelling with Baby

Many would argue that travelling with infants and young babies is quite similar to immobilizing an army. All the planning, logistics, and stress make you wonder if it is even worth going away. But we all love our holidays and so do our little ones, the great opportunities to explore and learn offered by many destinations will have an invaluable impact on your child’s development.

In order to ensure your trip goes as smoothly and as relaxing as possible a great deal of research, preparation and organisation has to be done in advance. Consider all and any relative issues with obvious ones like: where to stay, how to travel, feeding while away to more tricky ones like: what toys to bring, washing clothes or bringing extra to last the whole trip. I know a lady who brings an ‘emergency clothes budget’ when travelling with her two little ones in case if they run out of clothes and there are no facilities to wash them.

Make a list of all you requirements and needs for the trip, detailing what facilities you require at you accommodation. Choose your accommodation wisely as more often than not there will be a trade off between the price and your comfort.

Consider different options of travelling: flying, driving, taking a train. What advantages and disadvantages do they offer you? For example a flight might be a much quicker way of getting there but if you are travelling alone with three kids and five suitcases airport travel would most likely be logistically impossible.

If travelling to another country find out if local cuisine will be suitable for your little ones. If you are still bottle feeding get onto your formula manufacturer to find out if you brand is available at the destination and what the recommendations regarding water to be used in making up the bottles.

When deciding what toys to bring with you opt out for books and toys that don’t make any sounds for the flights, and pick multi functional toys which will keep you little one entertained for longer. You can always purchase new toys at your destination or you can buy new toys before you leave as these will be more interesting for your child than the ones he’s already familiar with.

Understanding baby language and baby speak

The development of baby language

Language is a special kind of human communication tool for language learning during infancy is also a critical period. But the master and the use of language is not an easy task. How critical period in the baby’s language is also the right to teach a rather complex and lengthy process.

From the fall to earth after the baby’s first cry, they begin to develop real language. After birth, parents should be more babies verbal communication. In normal everyday life, the mother can be used to guide the baby anytime, anywhere communication. Conscious repeatedly stressed that the name of the object, try to avoid using personal pronouns can address him by his name. More and babies to do some interactive games, with some simple children’s songs. But some babies bad temper, a momentary desire to less than satisfied, more than crying. Mother distressed child, always immediately satisfy all his wishes. This is a very good sign, for example, he wants to biscuits, you do not immediately give him, but taught him to say: “Biscuits, biscuits,” until after the baby out cookies, and then biscuits to him. In this way, not only to teach babies to speak, to meet the aspirations of young children at the same time to develop his language skills, the development of the baby’s intelligence. If it is the practice before, so that the baby’s needs are met, thus missing an opportunity to cry, lost an opportunity to learn the language. But hindered the baby’s language development. In fact, an appropriate infant crying is a good thing! Although the infant can not use language to respond to you, but they will smile at you, and this is their best response.

Multi-and they speak not only to stimulate their visual senses, the subconscious where the baby is still accumulated a lot of vocabulary. At the same time pay attention to the baby with the correct language to communicate, to the baby in the future of the language law and order was to prepare.
